Ground improvements update 11 October 2024

Progress through the ground improvements work on the new museum and exhibition site continues well this week with contractors now 20% through the RAP pile installation. Works continue down the Hamilton Street perimeter next week.

RAP update 4th October 2024

Piling contractors continued to make good progress on site this week despite the rain, with now over 10% of the RAPs installed. Next week work continues towards Willow Street.

Sheet Piling Update 26 July

Over the last week the rate of progress on our sheet piling work has slowed a little due to the ground conditions at the western end of the site. Contractors are now 83% through sheet piling work and are expecting to move back to the centre of the site late next week.
