In the next few weeks you may see some new activity on the CWEM site. The LTM team are going to get 2 rainwater tanks installed in the ground. A hole needs to be dug and to support the edges of the hole, some sheet-piling needs to be installed, and then later removed. The sheet-piling works can be noisy and you may feel vibrations through the ground. We apologise for any inconvenience.
The activity will be mostly confined to an area near Willow St that is aligned with the northern side of Masonic Park. The work is expected to start in the week commencing 17 March and if all goes well should be completed by the end of the month.
Once the building is operational, rainwater will be collected off the roof and then used to flush toilets. It is one of the many environmentally-friendly features of the build.
